The successful candidate will work closely with customers to identify and address barriers to employment, providing tailored support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customers understand the program requirements and expectations
  • Identify and coordinate assistance to improve employment prospects through self-esteem building, accessing non-vocational and vocational interventions, job matching, and more
  • Deliver and facilitate group-based sessions to support customers in improving non-vocational skills and ability to complete job search
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations for holistic support
  • Review customers' requirements on a regular basis to ensure tailored support
  • Conduct reverse marketing calls to employers to support with placing participants into employment
What We're Looking For:
  • You are passionate about connecting people to opportunities and results-driven but people-focused
  • You have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, liaison, and consultation with stakeholders
  • You utilise your professionalism and customer service skills when providing support, including facilitating small groups
  • You are proficient in computer applications, including Windows and MS Office suite
  • You understand and can work within a contractual compliant environment
  • You may have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Employment Services or related fields
  • You hold a current driver's license and are willing to undergo a satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Card as a pre-condition of employment
