Job Opportunity: Lead Clinical Care and Support Team

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Counsellors and Peer Support Workers, providing clinical care and support to individuals living with neurological conditions.

As a leader in this field, you will be responsible for operational and clinical leadership, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Organisation:

The organisation provides clinical care, support, and services to people living with neurological conditions in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, empower, manage, and provide clinical support to a team of Counsellors and Peer Support Workers.
  • Participate in strategy and business planning, including process review and updating.
  • Identify areas for service improvement to ensure best practice care is provided.
  • Manage a small caseload of clients to maintain clinical skills.
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work.
  • Demonstrated ability working as a successful Counsellor and Manager within the disability or mental health sectors.
  • Confident and supportive leader with excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Driven, adaptable, motivated, and innovative with excellent communication skills.
