Job Summary

\

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Leader to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating a visual plan to deliver a great customer experience in line with the company goals.

\

As a Visual Merchandising Leader, you will ensure your stores have a high visual standard by working with succession planning, talent and leadership development, and structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership.

\

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

\
  • Inspiring and motivating teams to deliver excellent indirect customer service through regular coaching and feedback.\
  • Ensuring store VM teams have visual routines in place to create clear garment presentation and wearable buying suggestions throughout the store.\
  • Ensuring that teams are up-to-date and understand current fashion trends, visual guidelines, styling techniques, and competitor landscape to anticipate customers' needs.\
  • Establishing best practice on the quantity, condition, and maintenance of all Visual Merchandiser materials, visual scheme orders, display stock, and interior materials with sustainability in mind.\
  • Collaborating with Support Office VMs and Country VM to communicate the visual level in your area and support country expansion needs with effective planning for new stores and rebuilds.\
  • Evaluating, developing, and mapping the visual performance of store teams in the area through feedback, coaching visits, training, and workshops.\
  • Identifying visual talent and ensuring development plans are implemented accordingly.\
  • Forecasting visual recruitment needs and ensuring visual recruitment follows global best practices and guidelines.\
  • Planning and delivering quality visual training for all visual roles.

Requirements for success include:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role and sized business within the fashion industry.\
  • Strong knowledge and passion for fashion trends, tendencies, and competitors.\
  • Proven results in Visual Merchandising to a high level across a portfolio of stores.\
  • A natural leader who can motivate and inspire others to perform at their absolute best.\
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.\
  • Be commercial – a genuine interest in the business and an understanding of the environment our business operates in.\
  • Sales drive and result-oriented personality.\
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.\
  • An interest in working in a dynamic team and fast-paced environment.
