About the Role

The Manager, Health Sector Funding and Budget Reform will spearhead the development and implementation of reform initiatives aimed at driving sustainable health system funding. This role will oversee the design and oversight of the health productivity framework, supporting sector-wide cost escalation growth rate containment, and advancing evidence-based policy solutions to improve funding efficiency and budget alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence and Negotiation: Secure stakeholder buy-in for proposals and ideas, building behind-the-scenes support to ensure ownership and commitment.
  • Leadership: Foster team engagement by demonstrating personal conviction, translate organisational strategy into meaningful long-term plans and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Think critically at the big picture level, entertain wide-ranging possibilities in developing a vision for the future.
