Job Title: Boat Builder (Senior Composite Technician)We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Builder (Senior Composite Technician) to join our talented team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in the lamination industry, with expertise in resin infusion processes and advanced composite technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Laminate fiberglass components to a lamination schedule, ensuring high-quality finishes and minimal defects.
- Operate gelcoaters and chopper guns, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Perform in-line inspections to identify and rectify quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voids.
- Handle hazardous chemicals, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve project deadlines and targets.
- Extensive experience in the lamination industry, with a strong background in resin infusion processes and advanced composite technologies.
- Excellent hand tool skills and machinery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets.
- Flexibility to move within lamination areas and multitask.
- Strong eye for detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality first time.
