About this role

We're looking for a seasoned privacy professional to join our team as a Privacy Officer. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in helping us navigate the complex world of data protection and ensure we're always compliant with relevant regulations.

  • As a Privacy Officer, you'll be responsible for providing specialist advice on implementing privacy policies and standards, ensuring we're meeting all the necessary requirements and reporting any data breaches that may occur.
  • You'll also provide input into submissions on regulatory and industry change, helping shape the future of our compliance strategy.

About you

  • With extensive years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, legal or commercial fields, you'll bring a deep understanding of Australian Privacy requirements and related processes.
  • You'll have strong collaboration and team skills, able to bring together people and foster a productive culture across businesses.
  • Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk-based manner, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You'll also have a proven ability to innovate and adapt to latest developments in your area of expertise, always looking for ways to improve our processes and procedures.
  • And, with experience in dealing effectively with senior management, you'll be confident in communicating your ideas and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
