About the Role

A Home Care Worker is responsible for assisting customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. We have multiple permanent part-time positions available for entry-level and experienced Home Care Workers in the North Eurobodalla Region - Moruya, Batemans Bay, and surrounding suburbs.

  • Permanent Part-Time contracts available for Weekdays work - Monday to Friday. Rosters change often, so flexibility is key.

Some duties may include:

  • Domestic assistance duties such as cleaning, housekeeping, meal preparation, etc.
  • Personal care such as showering and dressing.
  • Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g., help at home).
  • Engaging in social activities: transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • A current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured car.
  • Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - a second language is also a bonus.
  • Resilience and ability to work independently.
  • You're available to work Weekdays and Weekends.
  • A big heart, empathy, and a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life.
