Food and Beverage Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage team member to join our upscale hotel's dynamic team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To explain menu options to guests, providing assistance for special dietary needs or preferences
  • To maximize sales opportunities by upselling items
  • To ensure accuracy when ordering and delivering food and beverage orders
  • To use Micros to place orders
  • To liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
  • To clear and reset tables, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of service areas
  • To maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
  • To promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and promoting general OHS practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A customer-focused attitude with a strive for Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with customers
  • Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends
  • Barista and coffee making skills an advantage
  • Proven experience in similar positions within a hotel / resort environment
