**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Centre Technician Junior Assistant for our Service & Supply Centre.

As a Junior Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering consistent, accurate, and high-quality service to our customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent communication skills.

The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers and suppliers. You will be provided with training and work towards advancing in the Centre if the opportunity arises.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support in daily operation of the Hose Service Centre
  • Learn hose assembly, Machine/Weld and pipe-bending procedures
  • Assist to customers' needs at counter and on the phone
  • Pick-up and deliver goods as required

**Requirements**

  • A strong understanding of customer service
  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • A knowledge of the industry or similar type
  • Mechanical background an advantage but not imperative
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices
  • Current drivers' license or working towards obtaining one, reliable transport is needed - Ability to drive manual is essential
  • Be computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Well-presented and groomed
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Live within a reasonable distance to the business
  • An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Maintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Pirtek Dress Code Policy
