Design and Development Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our innovative engineering team in Western Australia. This role involves designing and developing tooling for ROVs and subsea equipment, contributing to the advancement of eROV, USV systems, vision systems, and related tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective design solutions for tooling and equipment.
  • Contribute to the advancement of various engineering disciplines.
  • Review and verify technical outputs including drawings, schematics, programming, and system designs.
  • Lead junior and graduate engineers on specific projects as required.
  • Support the lead engineer with day-to-day engineering tasks and project coordination, and act as the lead in their absence, ensuring continuity and quality of work.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in both mechanical and software engineering disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of hydraulics, electronics, and electrical systems.
  • Strong experience with quality management systems and processes.
  • Advanced computer skills, including CAD software (Solidworks, Draftsight/AutoCAD, Altium Designer), programming and machine learning (C++, Python, LabVIEW, C#), and Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint).
