Security Officer II

Florida Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer II to join our team. As a Security Officer II, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our campus community. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the campus to identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all members of the campus community.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents that may arise.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records of incidents and security activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role.
- Valid Florida driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
