Biogas Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our biogas-to-energy operations team in Newcastle. As part of this initiative, you will be responsible for preparing and installing biogas extraction systems on landfills across Australia.
This role involves working outdoors on dynamic and hazardous landfill sites, with occasional travel to intrastate and interstate locations. You will collaborate closely with our Manager and the national Biogas team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install biogas wells following drilling operations
- Erect manifold stations and connect flow lines to biogas wells
- Place and install J Traps
- Bedding of trenches and setting up laser levels
- Perform butt/electro fusion welding
- Support the national Biogas team
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of construction principles is desirable
- A strong team player with excellent work ethic, initiative, resilience, and communication skills
- Fitness for work to perform the job role safely and competently
