About the Role

As a Construction Labourer/Gas Field Installer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and installing biogas extraction systems on landfills across Australia.

You will work closely with our Manager to ensure the successful installation of these systems, collaborating with the national Biogas team including Leading Hands, Supervisors, and Managers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing biogas wells following drilling
  • Erecting manifold stations
  • Placing and connecting flow lines to biogas wells
  • Installing and filling J Traps
  • Bedding of trenches
  • Setting up and using laser levels
  • Butt/electro fusion welding

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction principles (desirable)
  • A team player with a great work ethic, showing initiative, resilience, and strong communication skills
  • Fitness for work to perform the job role safely and competently
