Bid Management Role



We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Management professional to lead our bid response efforts in India. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing winning bid strategies.



Key Responsibilities



  • Lead Bid Planning and Execution



    • Develop and implement comprehensive bid plans, ensuring timely and effective execution of bid responses.



  • Bid Content Development



    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop high-quality bid content, ensuring alignment with our brand and governance requirements.

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling bid responses that meet client needs and expectations.



  • Stakeholder Management



    • Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, technical experts, and other functional teams, to ensure seamless bid execution.

    • Communicate effectively with clients and partners to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.



  • Bid Process Improvement



    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance bid efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Develop and maintain bid-related knowledge management systems to ensure best practices and lessons learned are captured and shared.



  • Reporting and Analysis



    • Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, successes, and challenges.

    • Analyze bid performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.



  • Team Development and Capability Building



    • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance bid management capabilities within the India business.

    • Mentor and coach junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.



  • Other Responsibilities



    • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.

    • Support the development of business development plans and strategies to drive growth and revenue.



    Qualifications and Experience



    • Education



      • A relevant degree in an engineering discipline, business, marketing, English, or a related field.



    • Experience



      • A minimum of 8 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or a related field.

      • Proven track record of delivering successful bid responses and developing winning bid strategies.

      • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

      • APMP accreditation or equivalent is highly desirable.



    • Skills and Competencies



      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

      • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce high-quality bid content.

      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and meet quality standards.

      • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative bid strategies that meet client needs and expectations.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze bid performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.

      • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
