OSHC Service Assistant Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced OSHC Service Assistant to join our team at Tyndale Christian School in Strathalbyn and King's Baptist Grammar School in Mount Barker.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and activities for children outside of school hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering daily quality activities, supervising and supporting children, preparing and serving healthy food options, and creating an engaging and happy environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
  • Supervise and support children during after-school care, holiday care, and other programs.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options that cater to children's dietary needs.
  • Create an engaging and happy environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, or School Aged Care (or equivalent).
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
  • Child Protection Training Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
