The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Gunnedah, Northern NSW. As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our customers in the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global OEM and contribute to a professional team environment. You will be supported in your career development, with access to training and education programs, and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mobile plant mechanics, with experience in breakdown, repairs, and diagnostics. A valid driver's license and MR or HR license are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert maintenance and repair services to customers in the region
  • Work on a wide variety of equipment, including Komatsu machines
  • Contribute to a professional team environment, ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues

Requirements
  • Cert III or equivalent in Mobile Plant Mechanics
  • Experience working as a Field Service Technician, with exposure to breakdown, repairs, and diagnostics
  • A valid driver's license and MR or HR license
  • Auto electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills highly regarded
