Senior Water Resource Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Water Resource Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering consulting and a strong background in hydrological assessments, 2D hydraulic modeling, and water balance modeling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake hydrological assessments using Australian and Rainfall and Runoff 2019 methodologies
  • Conduct 2D hydraulic modeling to support the characterization of flood risk and design of surface water management systems
  • Perform dam breach and runout assessments to industry leading standards
  • Develop engineering solutions for a range of projects including tailings storage facilities, water dams, levees, diversions, roads, and water/sediment dams
  • Prepare and technically review engineering reports, drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, and cost estimates

Key qualifications include:

  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ)
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering consulting
