Retail Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail sales team.

This pivotal role involves overseeing key operational functions, driving team performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete store managerial duties including banking, budgets and rosters
  • Consistently achieve sales, store and personal KPI targets by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff
  • Action staff hiring, promotions and disciplinary procedures (where required)
  • Ensure thorough induction and training for all new staff members
  • Manage stocktaking and stock control for store
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of shipments
  • Maintain showroom and warehouse ensuring it is kept clean & safe at all times
  • Reporting and sales management
  • Implement, train, monitor and adhere to company WH&S standards
Requirements:
  • Management experience in the retail sector is preferred (plumbing or interior sales advantageous)
  • Experience in managing and meeting KPI's
  • Good level of computer literacy and MS applications
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
