Job Description

This role involves daily operation and maintenance of the Clarence Coal Handling & Preparation Plant, located near the NSW town of Lithgow.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment at all times and will identify, report, and act on workplace hazards.

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the CHPP area.
  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs to CHPP equipment.
  • Be involved in CHPP mechanical upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Mechanical trade certificate and have an up-to-date resume with contactable references.

A proven understanding of the associated safety risks and hazards of a coal handling and processing plant or heavy industry environment is also essential.

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a current Coal Board Order 43 Medical.
  • Possess a positive 'Can Do' attitude and be team-focused.
