Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team based in Mount Gambier.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in industry and possess excellent technical skills, including programming and commissioning of industrial control systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather project requirements and assist with proposal preparation
  • Design, develop, test, train, and commission robust, stable, expandable, and upgradable control systems
  • Identify new technologies and practices appropriate for use in the role

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Mechatronics, Software or Electrical Engineering (or similar degrees) is preferred. Other qualifications will be considered with suitable experience.

  • Experience in PLC and SCADA a must, with in-depth knowledge of Rockwell and/or Siemens Automation suite of software and hardware
  • Good understanding of complex Electrical Schematic and Control Diagrams
  • Good understanding of complex Fluid Power Systems (Hydraulics and Pneumatics)
  • Robotics experience is a plus
  • Exposure to AS4024 safety system commissioning preferred
  • Project commissioning experience
