Medical Practitioner for Primary Care Services

Seeking a medical practitioner to deliver primary care services to residents of residential aged care facilities.

The ideal candidate will be able to take medical history, conduct clinical examinations, and provide preventive health care.

They must also be able to contribute to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions.

Full operational support is provided by the administration staff, allowing the practitioner to focus on clinical tasks and patient care.

No after-hours requirements are applicable, with all calls directed to a medical deputising service.

Requirements
  • A Non-Vocationally Registered (Non-VR) medical practitioner
  • Currently AHPRA registered with General registration
  • Permitted to work in Australia
  • Can apply for a Medicare Provider Number
  • Has professional indemnity insurance
  • Great attitude and can work under the supervision of senior medical officers
  • Committed to the company and a team player
  • Basic computer skills and good social and communication skills
