Job Title: Mental Health Specialist
\The role of the Senior Mental Health Clinician is to provide high-level clinical services, including assessments and interventions that promote mental health, well-being and safety.
\As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering mental health services within the correctional centre.
\To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your combined clinical knowledge, understanding and skills to support service delivery.
\Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing behavioral support management plans, providing clinical supervision and mentorship, and being accountable for your own professional development.
\You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
\The job requires an experienced clinician who can manage a diverse case load, maintain accurate case notes and progress reports, and operate independently to provide advice and undertake clinical consultations.
\Required skills and qualifications include a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, registration as a psychologist, and experience in mental health assessment and treatment planning.
