Mercy Community Services is currently seeking an experienced Case Worker to join our Connected Families Team. This permanent full-time role is based in Ipswich, Queensland.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $87,380, which includes superannuation and generous salary packaging options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality service delivery to children, young people, families, and the community within the Connected Families Service.
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals as identified in relevant planning documentation developed in line with organizational procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with your line manager to identify client needs and deliver appropriate services within available resources.
  • Build and maintain trusting and meaningful working relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Queensland Child Protection system.
  • Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's Licence.
