About This Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our Service Group Consumables, where you'll work with a talented team to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies. As a Technical Specialist - Feeder Screens Wear Parts, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering consumable solutions that meet our customers' evolving needs.

  • You'll collaborate closely with our Business Development and Global Service Line Managers to respond quickly to customer requirements, ensuring our screen media designs and vibrating deck and trommel layouts are always on point.
  • Using your technical knowledge and experience, you'll design products, tooling, molds, manufacturing equipment, and processes within our identified product portfolio, adhering to industry standards.
  • You'll support global engineering efforts in product standardization, production methods, and materials, driving efficiency and effectiveness across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement design briefs as required, instructing and guiding third-party resources to detail design specifications.
  • Participate in research and development of new products and improvement of manufacturing efficiency, contributing to the commissioning, trialling, and testing of processes and equipment.
  • Promote a culture of personal and team safety, including others affected by our operational activities.

What We're Looking For

We need someone with recent experience in engineering screen media in mineral processing or aggregates industries. You should have relevant direct experience with screen and trommel media, as well as a high level of understanding of mining wear solutions, particularly polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes.

As a technical specialist, you've successfully developed sustainable solutions to support sales efforts, increasing market share, productivity, and efficiency. Your ability to develop relationships both internally and with external clients will be crucial in this role.

We're looking for someone who can utilize ERP database systems, such as Oracle, Citrix/Epicor, SAP, or similar systems, to drive business growth and efficiency.
