Leadership Communications Specialist

 

Deliver exceptional leadership communications to drive business success. Lead and execute internal communications for senior executives, helping to amplify their voices, engage stakeholders, and support organizational transformation.

 

Work closely with the Internal Communications & Experience team to ensure messaging is consistent, authentic, and embedded across the wider communications landscape.

 

Combine deep business understanding with storytelling expertise to elevate leadership communications that are clear, thoughtful, and inspiring.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the internal communications strategy for senior executives, ensuring it informs, connects, and inspires internal audiences across multiple channels.
  2. Provide trusted, strategic communications advice, helping to shape executive voice and messaging in a way that reflects their authentic leadership style and the needs of our people.
  3. Write and deliver high-quality, audience-focused content - including executive messages, videos, speeches, and partner and firmwide updates - for a range of formats and channels.
  4. Collaborate with the Internal Communications & Experience team to embed executive messaging into relevant campaigns, initiatives, and key moments across the organization.
  5. Support and influence the revival and refresh of partner communications, contributing to tone, cadence, and strategic messaging improvements.
  6. Maintain strong and trusted relationships with senior leaders, acting as a strategic communications advisor beyond the executive team.
  7. Provide honest, constructive feedback and advice - including the confidence to respectfully challenge stakeholder viewpoints to achieve better communication outcomes.

 

Bring 10+ years of communications and/or media relations experience. Experience advising C-suite executives, including CEOs on strategic initiatives, organisational messaging, and stakeholder engagement.

 

Demonstrated success in executive and internal communications within large-scale or complex organisations, ensuring alignment between leadership vision and company-wide messaging.

 

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across channels and formats, with a clear grasp of tone, messaging, and audience needs.

 

Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

 

A strategic and proactive mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing demands, and deliver with pace and precision.

 

Experience managing executive communications channels (e.g. emails, intranet, videos) and knowing when and how to use each effectively.

 

The ability to coach and support team members within the broader communications function.
