Aon is seeking a Strategic Consultant to join our Strategy and Technology Group (STG) in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with (re)insurers to identify and prioritize value-maximizing strategic initiatives
  • Draft proposals and project initiation documents for high-priority initiatives
  • Lead the delivery of consulting projects to help (re)insurers achieve their strategic goals
  • Plan and facilitate interviews and workshops with clients and Aon colleagues
  • Lead the production of consulting reports and other client deliverables
  • Manage junior team members in the delivery of desk-based research, data analysis, and other work streams
  • Actively participate in the identification and communication of recommendations to clients
  • Support the implementation and execution of strategic recommendations
  • Support specific aspects of the client relationship alongside other STG colleagues
  • Develop your internal network to connect with Aon's market practitioners as required by client-focused activity
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working in (re)insurance or financial services (5 years+)
  • An interest in (or experience within) the insurance industry, its challenges, and evolutions
  • Able to build and manage trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Good autonomy and organization
  • Able to act with conviction and be a people-influencer with both managers and operational teams
  • At ease with analyzing large/complex data sets and distilling useful insights from them
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Graduate degree in business, finance, or equivalent
  • Experience working in management consulting, (re)insurance, or financial services will be viewed advantageously
