We are seeking a dedicated mental health specialist to provide evidence-based care and empower young people through inclusive, youth-friendly practices.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and adhere to youth-friendly practice principles.
- Conduct clinical assessments focused on young people at the organisation and develop care plans based on their needs.
- Deliver evidence-based early/brief intervention therapy, including group interventions and problem solving with young people and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the young person and their families to develop individual treatment plans that are person-centred and directed by the young person as much as possible.
- Psychologists with full and current registration to practice with AHPRA, and who are working towards membership of their relevant peak professional body (APS).
- Social Workers holding an approved Social Work Qualification (Bachelor/Master of Social Work) with additional mental health training or endorsement, and eligibility or working towards membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Occupational Therapists with full and current registration with AHPRA and additional mental health training or endorsement.
- Division 1 Mental Health Nurses with relevant experience or postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing.
