This is a dynamic role for an experienced Speech Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this position, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and develop your skills in assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
About the Role- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and medical professionals, to provide holistic care and support to patients.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life.
- Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities using standardized tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
- Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the relevant professional association.
- Experience working with adults and children with communication and swallowing disorders.
