We are seeking an exceptional Support Worker to join our dedicated team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in residential settings.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the needs of service users are met by delivering individualized support and care. This may involve teaching daily living and social skills through activities and household tasks, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, staff, and families, and keeping accurate records of service user documentation.

To excel in this role, you will require a degree in Applied Social Studies or a relevant qualification (eligible for CORU registration or CORU Registered). You should also have experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities and possess good organization and communication skills.

In addition, you will need to be able to work independently and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting. A full manual driving license is also essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to service users.
  • Teach daily living and social skills through activities and household tasks.

Requirements:
