Compassionate Patient Care Assistant

Geegeelup Village provides high-quality care to its residents with the support of a skilled Nursing Support Worker.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist residents with their personal care needs, including mobility and communication requirements.
- Follow therapy plans to assist residents with dementia and behavioral issues.
- Provide personal care assistance and treatments as per individual care plans and direction from CNM/RN/Supervisor/Allied Health Professional.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, a friendly and helpful attitude, and the ability to respond flexibly to changes in the environment. They must also be willing to learn new skills and work effectively in a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident care records.
- Participating in rehabilitation, therapy, leisure, and activities programs.
- Ensuring confidentiality, dignity, and privacy of our residents.
- Following hostel policies and procedures.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following Organisational Policies, Procedures, and Directives, and the WHS Act (WA) 2020.
