A Companion carer with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor is required to support clients in Wagga Wagga.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a person-centred environment respecting clients' rights and needs.
  • Support with gardening and yard maintenance tasks.
  • Accompany clients on daily errands and activities.
  • Engage in academic, social, or recreational pursuits as needed.
  • Prepare food as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of clients' health and wellbeing.
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Adhere to weekend and overnight shifts as scheduled.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Possess current National Police Check.
  • Hold current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Hold current NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation.
