About this role

Explore rural areas and work on-site to prepare equipment and materials for projects. Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and attention to detail are required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Install and commission small to large-scale pumping systems.
  2. Mobilise and demobilise pumping equipment.
  3. Conduct general workshop duties to prepare for upcoming project and site works.
  4. Perform function testing of pumping systems.
  5. Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace and onsite.
  6. Ensure timely completion of all inspection, testing, and safety paperwork.
  7. Assist with maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment.
  8. Interpret system drawings and BOMs to prepare for system installations on site.
  9. Collaborate with workshop trades to achieve key business objectives.
  10. Deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  1. Current Driver's Licence.
  2. General Construction Induction ticket (or willing to obtain).
  3. Confined Space Entry (or willing to obtain).
  4. Patient, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances with great problem-solving skills.
  5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision.
  7. Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.

Desirable Skills

  1. Previous experience in construction industry with ground dewatering, pipelaying, or sewer pump station operations.
  2. Experience in Rental, Construction, or Heavy industries.
  3. HR Licence.
  4. Poly Welding Ticket.
  5. Working from Heights Ticket.
  6. Dogging/Rigging Licence.
  7. Relevant Trade Certificate would be advantageous.
