Better Pumps is a growing pump services and engineering company, and we are looking for a pump technician to join our team.

Our customers are industrial / commercial companies and public infrastructure operators who need their pumps serviced, refurbished or replaced.

Our company is based on the northside of Brisbane and primarily services the greater Brisbane area and South-East Queensland.

The responsibilities of this role will include
- Mixture of on-site & workshop tasks
- Removal, repair and overhaul of a range of pumps
- Installation of pumps and associated pumping equipment
- Confined space removal and installation of pumps
- Conducting preventative maintenance service calls and submitting reports
- Testing and troubleshooting faulty pumping equipment
- Liaising with customers to ensure delivery of service required

For this role you will need
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience in the pumps industry
- Some experience with various types of pumps including centrifugal pumps, multistage pumps and submersible pumps
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Ability to problem solve on site
