We are currently seeking a Medical Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity in our office.
Job SummaryThe Medical Law team acts for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries, cosmetic injuries, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis of illness and cerebral palsy. We are seeking a Medical Consultant to work closely with our team members to ensure excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial client interviews on the telephone to build trusting relationships.
- Proactively manage post-interview activities, including drafting medical reports and supporting legal documentation.
- Work closely with the Medical Law team to deliver exceptional results for clients.
- Progression towards or completed qualifications in Biomedical Science and/or Laws is preferred but not essential.
- A working knowledge of medical terminology, guidelines, practices, and protocols is required.
- Tenacity for complex problem-solving and a natural curiosity to listen to clients are essential.
- Demonstrated phone-based customer service experience with clients who have experienced trauma is necessary.
