Senior Orthotist Level 3 Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Orthotist Level 3, providing clinical assessment and orthotic services to patients.

The team provides comprehensive care to inpatients, outpatients, and community clients. The Senior Orthotist will support the clinical management of junior staff and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and provide high-quality orthotic services.
  • Support the development of junior staff and collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Utilise on-site manufacturing and advanced technologies such as 3D scanning and printing to deliver innovative orthotic solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation and communicate effectively with referrers.
  • Contribute to a collaborative service environment and uphold safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Australian work rights and a strong commitment to professional practice.
  • Experience as an Orthotist; knowledge of paediatric, CP, neuromuscular, scoliosis, and high-risk conditions is highly valued.
  • Strong orthotic fabrication and manufacturing skills; ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and participate in ongoing professional development.
