A dynamic Midwifery ward is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team.
- Delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional experience to women and their families
- Providing leadership and guidance to midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in a similar role and special care nursery experience advantageous. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based midwifery care
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensuring patient and staff safety
- Supervising, directing and guiding midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Delivering education and support to mothers and their families
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
