Midwife Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality midwifery care to women and newborns in private and public hospitals.

About the Position

Purpose: Provide midwifery care to women and newborns in private and public hospitals.

  • Main Responsibilities: Aid in prenatal, delivery and postnatal care of newborns and their mothers.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Ensure safe, evidence-based midwifery care through prenatal, delivery, and postnatal stages.
Requirements

Clinical Experience: A minimum of 1 year of recent (within last 12 months) clinical experience.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Midwifery, Current unrestricted AHPRA certification.
  • Licenses: Work rights in Australia, Valid National Police Check, Current NSW Employee Working with Children's Check.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, Strong observational and leadership abilities.
