We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our Property & Buildings team in Darwin. As a key member of our global network, you'll partner with colleagues on complex greenfield and brownfield projects, driving innovation and excellence in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver design packages and technical aspects of major projects, leveraging technical knowledge and experience to develop effective solutions.
  • Take on project management roles for smaller projects, leading meetings and managing client interactions.
  • Coordinate project teams, allocating and checking work, and providing feedback on performance.
  • Ensure junior team members adhere to delivery standards and follow essential procedures.
  • Develop business by maintaining client relationships and ensuring client loyalty through excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
  • Knowledge of design in common building materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Experience in 3D design environments and BIM protocols.
  • Passion for design documentation, assessment, and analysis of technical data.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards.
  • Strong communication skills, including report writing.
  • Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen.
