About this role

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Structures is a key position within the Airbus Maintenance Function, where your skills, experience, and knowledge will be utilised to undertake aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP) and their customers.

The opportunity

As a Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer within the Airbus Maintenance Function, you will be responsible for executing maintenance within the bounds of the authority level delegated by the relevant Responsible Manager. You will work within the AAP Maintenance Function, conducting maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) (or equivalent) and all other maintenance procedures as laid out within authorised AAP procedures, relevant aircraft maintenance manuals, and Defence documentation.

  • Diploma Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
  • High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
  • Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
  • Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) environment
  • Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP)
  • Have obtained, in the judgement of the relevant Responsible Manager and the Company, sufficient experience on type to support a successful application for maintenance task authorisation at the appropriate level
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
