Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to develop, extend, and deepen your clinical expertise in a friendly and well-supported team. You will be working under different service pathways, including the NDIS and the private sector.

You will be using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT & DBT, and have the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in administering psychological assessments, such as mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism, and ADHD assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • Provisional Psychologists accepted
  • For Registrar Program: Ability to become registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
  • For endorsed positions: registration with AHPRA with endorsement in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client-facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
