Job Description

We are seeking a Food Services Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time role with approximately 25 hours per week, requiring experience in food services within a healthcare environment or hospitality.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive team culture by:

  • Preparing and serving food throughout the facility, including setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages;
  • Participating in food safety processes;
  • Assisting in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils, including dish and pot washing as required;
  • Operating with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays.
Responsibilities
  • Food Services Assistant: Provide exceptional customer/patient service, assist with food preparation, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Store Person: Inventory management, stock rotation, maintaining clean storage areas, and assisting hospital staff with queries and resolving inventory-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Authority to Work in Australia;
  • Experience in Healthcare or Hospitality (preferred);
  • Working with Children check (if relevant);
  • Commitment to service excellence;
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
