Job Description:

As a Community Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of Russian-speaking individuals in Sydney by providing high-quality care and support.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living tasks, including household chores, transportation, meal preparation, and personal care.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, household chores, and personal care.
  • Provide social support and respite for family members or caregivers.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional care and service.
  • Stay up-to-date with workplace health and safety principles to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A compassionate heart and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
  • The ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people, including elderly clients and their families.
  • A reliable team player who is able to work collaboratively with others.
  • An understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential, but can be completed through our traineeship program).
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
