Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Technician to contribute to our maintenance efforts. This role is physically demanding and requires a keen eye for detail, as well as a readiness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions. If you are enthusiastic about horticulture, possess a strong work ethic, and are eager to develop your skills in this field, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, blowing, weeding, and applying treatments.
  • Safely and effectively operate hand tools and power equipment under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials, plants, and equipment from vehicles.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces, tools, and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your teammates.

Candidate Profile

  • Preferred experience in landscaping, gardening, or a similar field.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy items, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to high standards.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well within a team.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • White Card.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Access to ongoing safety training programs and resources.
