Drive Innovation in Manufacturing


Knauf Gypsum Pty Ltd, a global leader in insulation materials and gypsum wallboard systems, seeks a National Technical Manager to oversee engineering, process development, and sustainability functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital projects, sustainability initiatives, and process optimization within the Manufacturing business unit.
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions that enhance financial performance while fostering a Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Pursue in-depth knowledge of gypsum and plasterboard manufacturing processes, plant equipment capability, and process chemistry.

Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in building materials industry, specializing in plasterboard production, operations management, and process optimization.
  • MBA highly regarded. Lean Six Sigma and global experience an advantage.
