We are seeking a highly skilled Track Engineering Manager to join our team at Metro. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of MTM Track and Civil Engineers to achieve high-quality outcomes for our passengers and business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical assurance on behalf of the MTM Chief Engineer, reviewing and endorsing Engineering Changes, developing and maintaining Standards and Technical Documents, and providing technical advice on the acceptability of non-conformances to Standards.
- Monitor asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that Technical Investigations are completed in accordance with MTM Procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to the MTM Track Infrastructure team on track management and supporting systems and tools.
- Monitor and report on the progress of all issues regarding assigned tasks and notify management of any matters that could have a material adverse effect on a project or the business.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and be a Registered Practicing Engineer - Victoria (RPEV), or eligible for qualification.
- You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Track Engineering and 5 years of experience with stakeholder engagement in multi-disciplinary environments.
- You will have extensive experience in Track maintenance or construction, proven experience working with and influencing stakeholders, and a history of driving cultural change within teams and with stakeholders.
