We are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Land Planner to join our team at CPB Contractors Pty Limited. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for liaising with clients, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental management frameworks and planning regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental management frameworks, environmental performance requirements, and conditions associated with secondary approvals.
  • Planning Document Coordination: Assist in the coordination and preparation of draft planning approval documents during project delivery.
  • Planning Advice: Provide ongoing planning and approvals advice to project teams regarding planning issues and challenging delivery matters.
  • Land Assessment: Assess land for the project and undertake planning assessments to identify associated planning or approvals risks.
  • Compliance Documentation: Work with the environmental team to coordinate the preparation of compliance documentation.
  • Impact Assessments: Assist in coordinating impact assessments for project areas, including ecology, flora and fauna, post-contact/built heritage, and cultural heritage.
  • GIS Mapping: Work with the digital engineering team to prepare GIS mapping of project areas, project values, and PSA areas, as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in coordinating and preparing project approvals for infrastructure projects in Victoria or local planning level.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of the planning process and planning legislation in Victoria.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in planning or environmental planning, engineering (preferred but not essential).
