Schools Officer Job Description

As a key member of our school's team, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment that supports student learning and wellbeing.

About the Role
  • Maintain high standards of school grounds and facilities through routine maintenance, minor repairs, and groundskeeping duties.
  • Support a range of security duties at the school, including using and maintaining the school security systems.
  • Assist with clearing and hosing of drains and gutters, collection of waste, and undertaking immediate action cleaning duties.
Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to security duties, including banking of funds and locking/unlocking buildings.
  2. Support a range of duties, including clearing drains and gutters, collecting waste, and coordinating removal/disposal of rubbish.
  3. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, including maintenance of a safe work environment and safe storage/handling of chemicals.
