Heavy Machinery Technician

Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Machinery Technician to work on new machine site builds, meeting tight deadlines in a safe manner. This permanent role offers OEM training and a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled, maintaining quality standards.
  • Complete onsite builds and commissioning for heavy machinery as scheduled, setting and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within allocated areas.
  • Liaise closely with the Heavy Machinery Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery targets are achieved.
  • Assist the Heavy Machinery Supervisor with other related duties.
  • Responsible for delivery and site assembly for heavy machinery.
  • Responsible to maintain build tooling, containers, and Hydraulic Power Pack units.

Requirements

  • Embody a strong safety culture.
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) trade qualifications.
  • Previous experience with assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on heavy machinery.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills with ability to build positive relationships.
  • Good communication skills and dedication to providing quality work.
  • Forklift, dogging, Rigging, and Working at Heights certifications.
