About the RoleDrive climate action by coordinating and implementing initiatives to reduce emissions, build resilience, and support environmental priorities. Lead the delivery of a Climate Change Mitigation Action Plan and collaborate with teams, communities, and partners to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and emissions.
- Provide technical advice on climate risk and adaptation to inform planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for reducing carbon footprint and promoting sustainability.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field.
- Proven experience in delivering climate change or sustainability initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and reporting capabilities.
