About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at KINNECT. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering workplace rehabilitation services that enable individuals to return to work in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of injured workers to determine the best course of action for their rehabilitation and return to work.
  • Develop and implement effective workplace rehabilitation plans that address the needs of injured workers and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and training to employers and employees on workplace injury prevention and management strategies.
  • Conduct pre-employment assessments, including drug and alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry, vision, and functional testing.
  • Develop and implement job dictionaries, manual task risk assessments, and interactive manual handling training programs.
  • Conduct workplace-based, home-based, and vehicle-based ergonomic assessments.

Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA or accreditation with ESSA.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
